These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding legal agreement between you ("Customer", "you") and Fyord Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated in India with its principal place of business at #2, 3rd Cross, Raghavendra Layout, Yeshwanthpur, Bengaluru — 560 022 ("FYORD", "we", "us").
These Terms govern your access to and use of our website at fyord.io, our quoting platform, and all manufacturing services we provide.
FYORD provides custom metal fabrication services including laser cutting, CNC machining, waterjet cutting, CNC bending, powder coating, and anodizing. We manufacture parts to your specifications based on design files you provide.
All services are subject to our technical capability and material availability. We reserve the right to decline any order that we determine cannot be manufactured to the required specification.
An order is accepted when you receive an order confirmation email from us. Quotes generated on our platform are valid for 7 days from the date of generation. Prices are subject to change after 7 days due to material price fluctuations.
By placing an order, you confirm that:
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your design files. FYORD manufactures parts exactly to the geometry provided. We perform automated DFM (Design for Manufacturability) checks and will flag obvious issues, but we cannot guarantee to detect all design errors.
We are not liable for parts that do not fit their intended application if the design files were correct but the design was unsuitable. We strongly recommend ordering a prototype quantity before large production runs.
If you request DFM review from our engineering team, this is provided as a courtesy and does not transfer liability for design fitness to FYORD.
All prices displayed on our platform are exclusive of GST (18%) and shipping. The final amount due is shown at checkout before payment.
Payment is due in full at time of order placement. We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and NEFT/RTGS bank transfer. Orders are not dispatched to production until payment is confirmed.
For B2B customers approved for credit terms, invoices are due within 30 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Orders may be cancelled without charge within 30 minutes of placement, provided production has not started. Contact us immediately at hello@fyord.io to request cancellation.
Once production has started, orders cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable. Design changes after production has started are not possible — a new order must be placed.
Quoted lead times are estimates. Typical turnaround is 3–5 business days from order confirmation. FYORD is not liable for delays caused by courier failures, natural events, or circumstances outside our control.
Risk of loss and damage passes to you upon handover to the courier. We package all parts carefully and provide photo documentation before dispatch. Claims for transit damage must be raised with the courier and notified to us within 48 hours of delivery.
We guarantee that parts will conform to your design files within our stated process tolerances. If parts are defective due to our manufacturing error, we will re-manufacture them at no charge or issue a full refund — your choice.
To make a quality claim, notify us at hello@fyord.io within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the issue. We may request the parts be returned for inspection before processing the claim.
We do not accept returns for parts that are correctly manufactured to your design files but do not fit their intended application.
You retain all intellectual property rights in your design files. By uploading files to our platform, you grant FYORD a limited licence to use those files solely to manufacture your parts and for internal quality and process improvement purposes.
FYORD's platform, software, pricing algorithms, and documentation are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or commercialise any part of our platform.
You may not use our services to manufacture parts intended for:
We reserve the right to refuse any order that we reasonably suspect falls within these prohibitions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FYORD's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of production, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
